What we believe
Don’t rent talent. Compound capability.
Six principles govern every AIGard engagement.
Embedded, not outsourced
Our engineers join your Slack, stand-ups and repos. They work as part of your team, not as a ticket queue.
Outcome-focused partnership
We measure success by long-term impact, not short-term deliverables.
Aligned from vision to velocity
We plug into your roadmap and OKRs so every sprint, deliverable and commit drives your outcomes.
Elastic scale, zero bloat
Scale from a single engineer to multiple teams as your workload grows, and back down when it doesn’t.
Enterprise-grade by default
Strict IP protection, data governance and industry-standard security on every engagement.
Full stack, one partner
Strategy, product, cloud, data and AI from one team, without hand-offs between vendors.
How we work
From first call to shipped work. In the open, at every step.
01 Scope Week 0Scope
We study your goals, current systems and sprint cadence, then recommend a roadmap, engagement model and team shape. No obligation.
02 Match Weeks 1–3Match
We put forward engineers for your stack. You interview them and approve who joins.
03 Embed Weeks 2–4Embed
The team joins your Slack, stand-ups and repos, and starts on agreed first deliverables.
04 Deliver & scale OngoingDeliver & scale
Regular demos and progress reports. Add or reduce capacity as your roadmap changes.
- Shared toolsWe work in your Slack, Jira, GitHub and cloud accounts.
- Agile sprintsIterative development with regular demos and feedback loops.
- Transparent progressWritten progress reports and open backlogs.
- ContinuityWe manage retention and handovers so context isn’t lost.
Security & data protection
Your data, your IP, your rules.
Clear ownership. Controlled access. Security built into how we work—from the first conversation to production delivery.
Your intellectual property protected
Engagements begin with confidentiality agreements and clear ownership terms for code, designs, and documentation. Third-party components and their licenses are identified.
Your access policies respected
Our engineers work within approved systems and repositories, with permissions limited to their responsibilities. Access is reviewed as roles change and removed when work ends.
Security built into delivery
Code reviews, dependency checks, and secure credential handling support our development process. We agree security requirements upfront and check them before release.
Your data governed across AI tools
We agree which AI tools and models may access your code and data, including their retention and training settings. Agents operate within defined permissions, with human approval for sensitive actions.
Let’s align with your security requirements.
We’ll review your access policies, data-handling needs, and vendor requirements as part of scoping your engagement.
FAQ
Straight answers.
Who is AIGard?
AIGard is a US engineering company, headquartered in Southern California, that builds full-stack software, data and AI teams for global companies.
Our engineers work inside client teams, tools and roadmaps. The operating principle is that capability should compound inside your organization rather than be rented and returned.
Where is AIGard based, and where are its engineers?
AIGard is a US company headquartered in Southern California, with a global team and an engineering hub in Vietnam.
Product and project managers work in your time zone, join your meetings live and keep delivery moving across time zones, so decisions do not wait overnight for an answer.
What makes AIGard different from a typical outsourcing vendor?
Three things: seniority, integration and accountability. Engineers average eight to ten years of experience and clear a five-stage vetting process; they work in your tools and your sprints; and AIGard remains accountable for retention, performance and handovers.
You also keep one partner as needs change, moving between staff augmentation, dedicated teams and outsourcing under the same agreement.
How does AIGard vet its engineers?
Every engineer clears a five-stage process before joining a client team: profile review, communication, skills assessment, a practical challenge and a technical interview with senior engineers.
The process tests delivery record, professional English, code quality, system design and proficiency in AI-assisted development. For staff augmentation and dedicated teams, you then interview and approve each person we put forward.
How does AIGard protect our data and systems?
NDAs are signed before any access is given, and engineers work inside your environment under least-privilege access, with permissions limited to their responsibilities.
Access is reviewed as roles change and removed when work ends. Our practices align with ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR and HIPAA, with PII masking, encryption and audit logging built into data work. We review your access policies, data-handling needs and vendor requirements during scoping.
How is our code and data governed when engineers use AI tools?
We agree with you in advance which AI tools and models may access your code and data, including their retention and training settings.
Agents operate within defined permissions, with human approval for sensitive actions. Proficiency in AI-assisted development is part of our skills assessment, so the tools raise delivery speed without loosening control.
What contracts does an engagement run under?
AIGard works under a master services agreement with a statement of work for each engagement.
Scope, responsibilities and terms are written down before anything starts. NDAs are signed before any access is given, and IP assignment is part of every contract.
Who owns the code, models and intellectual property?
You do. Intellectual property assignment is written into every contract, in every engagement model.
That covers source code, designs, documentation, data, models and prompts produced for you. Third-party components and their licenses are identified, so ownership is clear at handover.
Which industries does AIGard work in?
AIGard works across healthcare, finance, retail and e-commerce, logistics and manufacturing, real estate, and education and HR.
The Industries page describes typical work in each sector, and the case studies set out selected experience of the team in detail.
What happens on the first call?
The first call is a 30-minute scoping conversation about what you are building, your current systems and your timeline.
From it we recommend an engagement model, a team shape and first milestones, and follow up with a written proposal. There is no obligation.
